Hi Everyone

On 7 June 2018 cPanel announced that on 18 June 2018 they will be pushing updates to remove php 5.4 and php 5.5 from Easyspache 4.  You can read their announcement here:  https://blog.cpanel.com/removal-of-php-5-4-and-php-5-5-in-easyapache-profiles/

It's perhaps a little short notice but it is what it is and we need to deal with it. If you reprovision EA4 profile after 18 June you will lose php 5.4 and php 5.5.

Any server provisioned by us in the past couple of years should already be running minimum php 5.6 so you should not be affected by this change.  Older servers need to be checked.  We strongly recommend you upgrade to at least php 5.6 (or higher) right now on your websites and test that they work.  Any modern up to date WordPress website will work well on php 7.x without issue.  If your older websites stop working we will need to build you a custom profile but remember running old end of life php means your server is less secure.

Any questions at all please open a support ticket and we'll gladly help.  For our managed clients we can do the upgrade for you and test your sites - just ask.
