Our monitoring system detected an anomaly in the RAID setup on this server and alerted us to investigate.
Upon further examination it was found that attribute 188 of the hard drive on p0 was unusually high. This attribute as outlined on wikipedia (http://http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S.M.A.R.T.) is usually an indicator of either Power Supply or oxidized SATA/PATA cables. While this isn't a serious issue, it can lead to things like degraded arrays which do compromise the integrity of the RAID array forcing it to rebuild. Currently p0 is rebuilding as I type this.
We need to schedule some downtime to replace this cable. I propose we do this at 4am tomorrow morning UK time. The maintenance will be completed as quickly as possible.
