As of 31 March 2017 Yahoo! will stop allowing you to check emails from third party POP3 accounts via their Yahoo Email service.  This means if you currently have a Yahoo email account and have it set up to check your Big Wet Fish email accounts (or other email accounts) then it will stop working on 31 March 2017.

Here are some alternatives:

Gmail
Create a free Gmail account and you can set gmail up to check any POP3 email service including your Big Wet Fish Account.  We're not aware of any plans for Gmail to stop offering this POP3 import service.

Webmail
Your Big Wet Fish email service comes with a choice of three webmail clients.  https://your-domain.com/webmail  will give you access to webmail.

Mail Client Software
There are many free email clients you can download and install on your computer.  Many clients use Thunderbird whilst others use the default software privided with their operating system.  It's also relatively straightforward to set up using your BWF IMAP settings for incoming and SMTP for outgoing emails.  We can help with that.  As long as your chosen mail software supports IMAP for receiving emails and SMTP for the sending of emails your Big Wet Fish email service will work perfectly.

Smart Phone Mail Clients
iPhones and Androd phones have native email clients that all work with your Big Wet Fish email service.  Other email apps are available for download from the respective app stores and any app that supports IMAP and SMTP will work brilliantly.

Remember if you currently use Yahoo! email servers to send replies to emails you receive you will start using BWF email servers to send email after you convert.  You may want to make sure Spam Experts outbound email filtering is enabled on your domain name as this helps greatly with effective email delivery especially on shared web hosting.  Spam Experts is included in the cost of all our newest shared hosting plans and it's just a little extra to upgrade you legacy hosting plan to include this service.

Our UK based support team will be more than happy to assist you in getting your email moved away from Yahoo to an alternative method of checking your BWF emails.  Just reach out to us during regular business hours and ask for Matthew, Karl or Dan.  All three of these staff members are familiar with this issue and can assist you in choosing the best alternative method of checking your BWF emails to suit your needs.
