This is due to a price hike of up to 3000% on the current price being forced upon us by the registry for these domains from August 2017. Where there is uncertainty surrounding the pricing of products that we sell it's unfair to our clients that we continue to offer such products. Uniregistry have stated that the headline price will likely be less due to special offers but it's unfair to ask clients to renew domains at a cost effective rate around special offers. We'll be reaching out to all clients who have registered any of the above domain names in the next few days to alert them to the price hike.
Our company is also affected by this price hike too as we currently use a .hosting domain extension for our main website. We're securing this for ten years at the old price and will make internal plans for the future domain we will use to front our website.
