Intermittent Site Loading Issues

Update Saturday 20 May 2017:
According to the Let's Encrypt Status Page all issues are resolved.  We're going to monitor this for another 24 hours before turning SSL Stapling back on.  Having SSL Stapling turned off should not significantly impact site performance for most websites.

Update:
We believe the issue is related to the cPanel AutoSSL feature and that Let's Encrypt the SSL provider for this service is having an outage currently.  You can see Let's Encrypt have issues here:  http://letsencrypt.status.io/  -  we disabled (very temporarily) SSL Stapling on servers belonging to three of the clients reporting issues and their sites started to load immediately.  Sites on the same servers using paid for Comodo SSLs were unaffected so Let's Encrypt are the issue here.  We'll keep an eye on status and re-enable SSL Stapling across the fleet once we have tested things.

Update:

Our data centre system admins have confirmed there are no issues on their end.  They have told me another client in the same facility has reported similar issues though at approximately the same time as us.  They have informed us the other client of theirs has been told there is a BT outage.  We're not convinved BT is the issue though as our staff working remotely in the USA and not using BT and have the same issue.  We'll post updates asap.

10am Service Outage (Intermittent)
We're getting reports from clients of intermittent slowness or websites not loading.  The problem seems to be isolated to a specific segment of the data centre in Maidenhead.
We're currently talking to the system admins in our data centre and our senior system administrator is on line also looking into the issue. We'll have information as soon as we can
