Spam Experts Mail Filter Issue

Update: 8.30pm - We asked Spam Experts for a report on this issue.  They replied that they were aware of an issue earlier but it now has been resolved.   Piecing together the information from this reply and our initial reply from them at 1.45pm we think an Update that Spam Experts Made caused this and it did take them a few hours to resolve.  If we get any more information we will update this post.  We apologise again to those clients affected by this degraded service today in email by this Spam Experts outage.

Update: 3:40pm - Spam Experts have come back to us and the filtering service now looks to be stable. We are slowly putting all emails back through the service and monitoring the filtering services as we do. We will keep you informed as we know more.

Update:  2.30pm
- No word back from Spam Experts Yet.  We are continuing to push them for a speedy resolution

Update: 1.45pm - We're aware of a problem today with Spam Experts Mail Filtering.  Spam Experts is a third party service we use for filtering emails and today the system is not working efficiently.  We logged a high priority ticket with Spam Experts at 10am this morning.  They have replied at 1.45pm telling us there are issues with Slow Queries in the MySQL databases since they performed an update and they are working on the issue.  We see them currently logged into our Spam Filter Servers and actively working on the issue.


We're removing spam experts filtering temporarily from clients who are reporting issues and as you can imagine our live chat and helpdesk is very busy.


We will update this announcement the moment we receive more information from Spam Experts. We appreciate this situation is not ideal and we apologise for any inconvenience.
