87% of websites on the server are restored and are back up and running again. The remaining 13% are continuing to restore. Bear in mind the way our restore script works is that the smallest websites are restored first and the largest last. We'll continue to post updates on this page.

We've taken the decision to start restoring server 701 to the hot spare server. We are currently working to assign the IP addresses from old 701 to new 701 so as the data restores websites will start to come on line again. We will post announcements here as the restore proceeds.

The team are aware that server 701 has a problem and we have been working to resolve the issue. There is massive io wait on the server (80%+) but the disk array is not showing any issues. Our senior admin is still looking into the issue. We're prepping a hot spare server just out of the abundance of caution.
