New Comprehensive Malware Protection from Monarx
Here at Big Wet Fish we are always looking at new and innovative products to help protect our client’s websites from Malware and Attack. We’ve been quietly testing a relatively new product to the market called Monarx (https://www.monarx.com) and we are very impressed. We’ve set a number of controlled tests across some of our Shared Server Fleet and this new product has consistently picked up more malware with significant less server load in the fastest time compared to the other two excellent product that we have recommended until now.
This comprehensive security product is fairly priced and we sell it slightly cheaper than you can buy if from the Monarx Website. We still recommend the old products we've sold until now and continue to sell so don’t panic if you are using them and find them effective - we’re just sufficiently impressed with Monarx that we felt we should let you know so you can make a decision on what Malware and Virus Protection Product is right for you.

Options to help you protect your website with BWF and Monarx:
Business and Managed WordPress Clients
Starting next week we will be turning on ‘Comprehensive Protection’ with Monarx across our entire Business and WordPress server fleet. This is included in the cost of your hosting package and you will be protected from the get go. You do not need to do anything.
Managed VPS Clients / Dedicated Server Clients
There are two options here for you. You can add Full Service Protection for a monthly fee covering the entire server (costs below) or you can deploy Monarx with ‘Detect’ mode only and then pay to upgrade for protection to those sites found to have Malware on a per site cost per month. Obviously we recommend Comprehensive Protection but we wanted to give you the choice.
Reseller / Multi Site Clients
For our Reseller / MS Clients your server will have ‘Detect’ Mode enabled as standard and you can choose to add protection to individual websites on a per website basis (costs below).
Lite Plan Clients
You can upgrade to Business Hosting (with a discount available) to get Comprehensive Protection on our fastest hardware and move to our new platform that has the best performance yet. Or you can pay a small additional monthly fee to enable protection on your website on the current server it resides on (costs below).

Comprehensive Protection (for Managed VPS / Dedicated Servers)
£5 + VAT per month for servers with 1-2 accounts
£10 + VAT per month for servers with 3-20 accounts
£25 + VAT per month for servers with 20-199 accounts
£37 + VAT per month for servers with 200+ accounts
Alternatively you can pay £2.99 + VAT per month per account to enable protection on a smaller number of accounts if you do not want complete server protection.
Individual protection (for Lite Plans and Reseller / Multi Site Accounts)
£2.99 + VAT per account to enable protection on your website from the moment it is enabled
Comprehensive Protection (for Business / Managed WordPress Accounts)
Comprehensive Protection is included in the price of your hosting account and we have some generous pricing available if you want to upgrade from Lite to Business / Managed WordPress. Our team can provide you with details on request.
