Visa/Mastercard payment module changes

Hello

Last week we upgraded to the new version of WHMCS client billing software and this has resulted in some changes to how the processing of credit card payments happen.  We have made sure to place some text at the top of the invoice that will appear when you select 'Visa/Mastercard' from the payment method to serve as a reminder.

When you pay with Visa/Mastercard the invoice will still show as unpaid immediately after payment has been made.  The invoice will only be marked as paid once our payment processor partner (2co.com) mark the payment as successful after they perform some automated fraud checks. This usually happens within a few minutes.  Where there are suspicious variables the order may be marked for manual fraud review.  We have seen this happen when the client is in Australia and pays from an Australian IP but has a UK credit card.  The system sees this as suspicious.  If you feel there is an excessive delay just open a support ticket and we can assist you. 

Please do not see this as an inconvenience but rather our partner 2checkout.com looking out for our clients in making sure that stolen credit cards cannot be used for fraud orders.

It is really important you do not submit multiple payments as some people have been doing when they see the invoice is not marked as paid immediately.  This will result in the additional payment simply being added as credit to your client account and you would need to open a support ticket to have it refunded back to your card.
