This email was sent to all clients regarding network maintenance happening on Thursday 22 February. If you come on live chat or open a support ticket during the maintenance window our staff will direct you here. Our staff on live chat during the maintenance window will have no other information other than is posted here. We thank you for your patience whilst we work to improve our network.
This email contains important information for all clients hosted in our Northern Ireland Data Centre. We’ve outgrown the current facility (DC1) much faster than planned and we now have a second facility (DC2) that has been operating for a few months. We need to do some network upgrades in DC1 related to this expansion. This is work that is essential and is one off. Once it is completed no further network downtime should be needed for network changes / expansion due to the changes we are making to network design.
This maintenance will involve a period of loss of network connectivity whilst we do the work. All servers will remain powered on and it will only be the network affected.

Maintenance Times
Midnight to 6am UK time
During Network Maintenance servers in each network segment will lose connectivity for a period of time. One network segment will be completed at a time. We have this work meticulously planned and we will work fast but we are asking clients to allow us up to 5 hours network downtime overnight. We’re confident the downtime for any single server will not be that long but we want to allow for contingency in case we need to switch back.
We will complete this work on Thursday evening into Friday morning.
