Network Upgrades / Risk of Outage Window

The team are still working on these changes where we are adding additional diverse lines into our data centre. On 16 January there was about a 5 minute timeframe where BGP reloaded causing network to be off line. On 15 January the downtime was about an hour as we did initial work. We still need to complete this work but we will stagger this overnight middle of the night to ensure minimal impact. Future outages will be short whilst BGP Converges.
Our Upstream Providers in our Northern Ireland Data Centre are adding additional capacity as we upgrade our core infrastructure capacity and resilience.

Repeating for up to 10 days (only if required).
During this window you may see short periods where traffic routes may change or become unreachable for a few minutes as our BGP full routing table reloads and converges between routers. The work is being carried out overnight UK / Ireland time and we do not anticipate many clients being significantly affected but if you have any questions please let the team know.
