Like many areas of the technology industry, we are currently seeing significant increases in infrastructure costs. The worldwide IT services industry is under increasing cost pressure, with hardware components such as RAM and storage experiencing substantial price increases over the past 18 months, driven in part by the rapid growth in demand for AI infrastructure.
Historically, we have provided Spam Experts as a complimentary service. Unfortunately, due to the increased costs associated with providing this service, we can no longer continue to offer it free of charge. Going forward, Spam Experts will be charged at a modest charge of £1 per domain per month. This charge is per domain rather than per mailbox, meaning a domain with multiple email accounts will only incur a single monthly charge. The recommended retail pricing from Spam Experts for their Hosted Cloud service is significantly higher, with incoming and outgoing email filtering charged separately. We are keeping our charge deliberately low at £1 per month to provide both incoming and outgoing email filtering and to simply cover our costs.
The charge will be added to your client area. If you no longer wish to use Spam Experts, please let us know and we will be happy to remove the service and cancel the associated charge. We appreciate that any change involving costs is something that needs to be considered carefully. However, we have taken the decision to apply this consistently across all customers using Spam Experts, and we hope you understand that this change is necessary to allow us to continue providing the service sustainably.
