UK Bluesquare DDoS Issues (minimal client impact)

Hello

We wanted to make you aware of an issue a few hours ago. We had one client Tweet about an outage but we were unable to replicate the issue.

Here is a message from Bluesquare Data Centre in Maidenhead for your information:

'At around 17:42 BST on 24/07/2011 we experienced a network outage on a portion of our network due to a massive DDoS attack. 

This will have mainly affected customers outside the UK and European regions.

At around 18:00 we were able to bring this attack under control and although it is ongoing we now have it under control, we will continue to closely monitor the attack over the next few hours though do not anticipate any further issues.

There are no servers affected at this time and all servers are functioning normally.  Let us know if you have any questions.
