As long as a client you have referred keeps paying you and you have at least one active product yourself with Big Wet Fish then will continue to get 15% recurring commission. Here are a few possible scenarios where we would take credit back from you. Please bear in mind if you have withdrawn your affiliate credit and one of the below scenarios happens we would need to receive that back within a reasonable period of time.
- If we receive a Paypal Dispute or a Card Chargeback for the payment we have paid out affiliate credit on and that chargeback is upheld and we lose the money we would require the 20% to be paid back either by us removing it from your affiliate balance, marking unpaid an invoice that was marked as paid with that affiliate balance or by asking you to pay us the 15% back.
- If a client who pays annually cancels say 6 months into their annual contract and asks for 6 months refund we would require 6 months affiliate payment back either by us removing it from your affiliate balance, marking unpaid an invoice that was marked as paid with that affiliate balance or by asking you to pay us the 15% back.
- If a client who you have received affiliate credit on downgrades their package and asks for a pro rata refund of unused months we would require this affiliate payment to be adjusted accordingly.
Please note we enter into this affiliate scheme in good faith and we will pay 15% commission. The only case we would ask for that commission back is in a similar situation to those described above.
