Setting up an iPhone to use Cpanel Email

These steps are what I followed on my iPhone to set up email from a cpanel server.

Click Settings
Click 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars
Click 'Add Account'
Click 'Other'
Click 'Add Mail Account'
Now enter the 'Name, Email Address, Password and a Description' in the appropriate box
Click 'Next'
The phone will bring up a screen with 'POP' or 'IMAP' at the top.  We recommend you choose 'IMAP' as this will help Sync emails between multiple devices

In 'Incoming Mail Server' box enter your server hostname for example:  server29.bigwetfish.co.uk (this is because we have a shared SSL on the hostname so it allows for secure access)
In 'User Name' box enter the complete email address as the user name
In 'Password' box enter the email account password

In 'Outgoing Mail Server' box enter your server hostname for example:  server29.bigwetfish.co.uk (this is because we have a shared SSL on the hostname so it allows for secure access)
In 'User Name' box enter the complete email address as the user name
In 'Password' box enter the email account password

Click 'Next'
The Phone will state it is 'Verifying' at the top of the screen.  This can take a little time so be patient.

On the screen that follows simply click on 'Save' at top right and the phone will give the 'Adding Account' message at the top.

To check email on the iPhone

Go Back to the main iPhone screen
Click Mail and if needed go back to main mail screen and view all added email accounts
Click on the email account you have just added and the phone should fetch messages
