Hacked accounts are rare and usually can be traced to out of date scripts or plugins on your hosting account. Please always keep your scripts and plugins up to date at all times.
If you do discover your account has been hacked or compromised it is very important you let us know as soon as possible as we will most likely need to restore your site from backups. If you delay then there is the chance the backups will also be compromised.
