Transferring a Product to another person Print

Perhaps you are a developer who set up a website for a client but moving forward you want to pass control for billing and renewal to that new client?  Or perhaps you have sold your company and you need to pass total control of a product to someone else?

The process of moving control of domains / hosting to another client is simple and here is what you need to do:

  • Ask the new client to register for a client area account by visiting our website and clicking the 'Client Area' link
  • Once the client area loads under the 'Account' menu click on 'Register'.  Have the new client register a client account
  • Open a helpdesk ticket and tell us to move control of the product to the new client
  • We will take care of it and move it to the new client
  • Billing / Invoices etc will now be handled by the new client and the product will no longer be under your control.


Remember in the case of domain names you will also need to have us Update the WHO IS record for the domain name to move total domain ownership to the new client.  Please also request this when you open the ticket.  For UK domains you will need to do this direct at Nominet but most other domains we can sort for you on request.
